This is the third time I've coloured :iconspaghetti016: 's lines and it's the most fun I've had colouring in ages. Look at how much character this guy squeezes out of so few lines.

Dude seriously, they're getting better and better each time.

I would do way more cartoon characters than I would Heath Ledgers.

Wow! Thanks man. I'm really finding my groove colouring you stuff. I hope you don't mind me butchering the lines too much.

As long as you keep up the quality color work here I won't mind at all.

Butcher nothing! Those lines were made for those colors.

:) thanks man, but what I meant by butcher was the way I delete certain parts of the original lineart (normally solid black areas) in order to colour them in my style. I know some artists can get a little precious with their lines and don't like lowly colourists messing eith them.
Thankfully, :iconspaghetti016: is a good guy.

Still that's a great compliment.

This is your best so far.
The shading on the face is sublime; particularly the bridge of the nose. You’ve added so much depth, successfully, that wasn’t obvious in the original lines. Hell, it wasn’t even implied with the original image!
Again, your palette is perfect (very Ratatouille).
I especially love the incredibly subtle change of colour to hint at pre-stubble.
What’s next!? :)

If we can hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall like a house of cards...checkmate!
:iconbillythebrain:
You know what? After the last two, I didn't even have to think about this one. It just flowed. Maybe that's why it's the best of the three.

The palette is obviously Pixar inspired. I just thought 'Chef Gusteau' when I saw these lines.

Again, you notice the details (like the stubble). It makes it all worthwhile.

What next? I have no idea. I've got a commision coming up (when the inks are finished, not by me I should add) and then...who knows. Maybe something of my own??? Any suggestions bro?
